Dog Training
In our Training Center, we offer all phases of obedience. We are currently doing classes on therapy dog work, agility, service dog tasks, hunting dog training, show dog training and of course, basic obediance.
Basic Dog Training
In basic dog training classes there are 6 levels. Puppy, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Clicker Training, and Tricks. Your dog must complete Beginner (or puppy), Intermediate and Advanced, before going on to the final two. Treats and a blanket or bed must be suplied by you.
Puppy: The puppy level is for dogs between 1 month and 1 year. In the puppy level your puppy will learn the same thing as in the beginner level but earlier on in life making the other levels easier.
Beginner: In the beginner level your dog will learn to sit, stay, lie down, come, wait, go to spot, stop begging and to generally behave.
Intermediate: In the intermediate level your dog will learn to heel, be respectful towards other dogs, learn to ride in the car correctly and be petted by others.
Advanced: In the advanced level your dog will learn to pass the CGC (Canine Good Citizen Test) and then will be given the actual test.
Clicker Training: In the Clicker Training level your dog will learn to respond to a clicker instead of a treat.
Tricks: In the trick level your dog will learn to shake, roll over, play dead or bang bang, hup, high five, wave bye bye and hug.
Advanced Dog Training
In advanced dog training there are 18 different options. Show dog, hunting dog, service dog, emotional support animal, therapy dog, agility, jumping, fly ball, dock jumping, earthdog, weiner dog racing, herding, nose work, canine dressage, Schutzhund, greyhound racing, terrier racing, sledding. - Hour private training session - $20.00
- Board and train program - $650.00
(Thirty day training program. Includes private follow up sessions, a $10.00 off coupon for a group class plus a $5.00 off coupon for bath or grooming.)
- Daily train and play - $25.00
(Includes one half hour training session and playgroup.)
- Training session while boarding - $8.00
(20 minute session with the trainer)
